On a recent trip to London I discovered the French brand label; Tila March. It was back in 2006 that the French fashion Editor, Tamara Taichman wanted a unique bag to see her through fashion weeks in New York, Paris and Milan. She sketched the design and asked her husband, Nicholas Berdugo, then Marketing Director at a prestigious leather goods brand, to make her a prototype. The Zelig tote was then born, a bag recognisable by its paper-clip shaped closure and its Parisian-chic style.

Following the huge success of the bag, being picked by high-end retailers as well as trend setters and celebrities (Sienna Miller, Scarlett Johansson, Cameron Diaz, Kirsten Dunst and Sarah Jessica Parker to name a few) – Tamara and Nicholas launched the brand under the name ‘TILA’ as a cross between their first names and ‘MARCH’ the month in which they met.
I was very impressed by the softness and quality of the leather at such an affordable price and not to mention its very chic and stylish appearance. This bag is a classic piece for every wardrobe.

Set in a Brooklyn brownstone, the campaign give us a sneak peak into the world of the model, actress & artist. Styling herself in sass & bide’s latest SS13 collection, Suki appears light, eccentric and fun, blending a mixture of denim, ready-to-wear and gallery pieces.
