Tweed was everywhere for Chanel’s Fall/Winter 2022 collection by Creative Director Virginie Viard. Viard explored Coco Chanel’s later life in Scotland, where she was the Duke of Westminster’s mistress in the 1920’s.

“We followed the footsteps of Gabrielle Chanel along the River Tweed, to imagine tweeds in the colours of this landscape,” said Viard of the collection

Models coasted across the Grand Palais Éphémère in cozy marled knits in pink, burgundy and blue and suits topped with fleece jackets, and bar jackets, which were styled with over-the-knee wellies. The new casual approach to comfort dressing.
